XVII. Goodbye

Today I say good-bye to one of the best friends i've ever had.

I've known him for 6 years and he's one of the few people I can say I've loved and respected as a person. He leaves for the Marines and takes the first steps towards following his dreams.

I'm proud of you David. Take care and we'll see you soon buddy.

Never take a friendship for granted. No matter what stupid fights may come between, a true friend is hard to come by. Realize that.
